MikroTiK CCR1072-1G-8S+, Büyük ölçekli Ağ yönetm ihtiyaçları için özel tasarlanmış 72 Çekirdekli tilera işlemcisi, 16GB DDR3 1333 MHz Ram, birbirinden bağımsız kontrolcüler tarafından yönetilen 8 adet 10 G SFP+ portu ve 1 adet Gigabit ethernet portu ile saniye başına 100.000.000 paket taşıma imkanı sağlamaktadır. 64bit mimarisi baz alınarak yeniden tasarlanan RouterOS işletim sistemininde RAM bellek sınırlandırılması kaldırılmıştır, Geniş ölçekli ağ yönetimi için benzersiz bir şekilde tasarlanmış teknik donanımına hayat veren RouterOS işletim sistemi ile ağ yönetiminizi hiç olmadığı kadar esnek hale getirebilirsiniz.
Cihaz sunduğu yazılım ve donanım özellikleri ile geniş ölçekl ağ yapılarının Dinamik yönlendirme, Hotspot, PPPoE, Firewall, LOG,MPLS, Gelişmiş QoS, Yük Dengeleme (Load Balancing), Bonding, VPN,BGP,OSPF vb. gibi ihtiyaçlarını karşılayabilmektedir.
