CRS328-24P-4S+RM, 4 adet 10Gbit SFP+ Fiber bağlantı portu ve 24 adet Gigabit ethernet portu ile birbirinden bağımsız çalışan kontrolcüler tarafından yönetilen toplamda 28 adet data bağlantı arayüzüne sahiptir. Cihaz üzerindeki tüm ethernet portlarının sunduğu 24V Pasif PoE, Düşük Voltaj PoE, otomatik algılama destekli PoE ve 802.3af/at PoE+ olmak üzere üç farklı PoE güç besleme teknolojisi desteği sayesinde farklı uygulama ihtiyaçlarına cevap verebilen ve 1U Rack Mount tipi kasası içerinide yer alan dahili 500W güç kaynağı bulunan Akıllı PoE Switch, normal çalışma esnasnıda en fazla 44W'lık bir güç tüketimi yapmaktadır. Ethernet portu paşına tüm PoE besleme türlerinde 30W güç çıkışı sağlayabillen Siwtch'in PoE besleme için 450W'lık garanti edilmiş (3X150W, her 8'li ethernet grubu başına) toplam güç performansı bulunmaktadır. Yazılım tarafında Dualboot teknolojisi ile iki farklı işletim sistemi ile kullanım opsiyonu sunuan ürün; daha basit ihtiyaçlar için temel Yönetilebilir Switch fonksiyonları bulunan SwOS işletim sistemini sunarken, Routing ve Layer 3 seviyesinde gerçekleştirilecek daha kompleks ve gelişmiş uygulamalar için RouterOS işletim sistemini kullanıcılara alternatif olarak sağlamaktadır.
